Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Hungry

adam kunkel

It smells like teriyaki beef
Or maybe sauerkraut.
My stomach rumbles
And I take a bite.
Tastes like chicken.

This looks like lettuce
Or maybe it's spinach.
There's Ranch on it
And some carrots.
Tastes like Caesar dressing.

My fruit bowl looks like
Chunky syrup soup.
Pineapple, watermelon, pears
Or maybe it's moldy mangos.
Tastes like grapes.

My stomach pinches at my side
So I put my tray on top the can.
The bathroom looks clean
Or maybe there's herpes on the seat.
I take a dump.
