Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

How Could You?

Graph Desino

I don’t understand how you could be so selfish.
Leaving everything you care about
Behind like that.
Making me worry.
Making me cry until I can’t hear your name without choking back
Tears and vomit.
How could you?
Every time I close my eyes, I see your lifeless body,
Hanging limp in your bedroom,
Or your blood soaking your bedsheets
As the gun falls from your limp fingers.
It’s so awful, I don’t even want to think
That it could be real.
But I have to. I won’t run or hide
Like you did.
You were my lifeline.
One of my closest friends.
How could you?
