into three cups of Joe,
what-ifs crawling in lunches
to digest the portfolio

through shaded false glass,
workers killing themselves,
secretaries shaking their ass
for the boss

CEOs with their pressed suits
pressed ties
and pressed lips
tired bums with their
pressed plungers
full up on trips

climb the ladder
walk under
and gaze at the sun

from cold water
to cold water
