He is of Twenty and Three
Chris Dunn
Feeling the spray of the rain
And the saltwater pound his face,
He slowly shuffles his feet closer
To his demise, over the cliffs.
The past 3 years of his life
Seem rough and raging,
As the storm-crossed channel
Below and in front of him.
He cannot see for the constant
White sheets of precipitation
Coming from the
Invigoratingly darkened sky
A storm is here.
A storm he inadvertently feels
Is his own fault.
Metaphysically speaking, of course.
