Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Grome the Gnome

Denise Conrad

My name is Grome
I am a gnome
I even live in a dome

I sit on the lawn
I stare at the dawn
Children kick me like a pawn

I can not move
Unable to grove
Living a life I need to prove

I watch the sky
Children riding by
I sigh

My bright red hat
Broke on the mat
And even a kid sat
On me like a cat

My nose broke off
My eyes came off
And even some more stuff

I am bits of a gnome
My arms and legs roam
I no longer live in a dome
