Frisbee
Slim Walter DeTurtlevain
Life is like a frisbee
Soaring through the sky,
Looping like a seriously injured pelican
-Or any other kind of seabird that can be injured
Over the rough waves of non-life
That give it true unique-itude
This dying-bird frisbee of everything
Defies all laws of physics and similar sciences
By continuing its ever-falling flight
Its ever-faltering flight
Its ever-flapping flight
To who knows where
But we must ask ourselves a question:
Who is it that injured this possibly-pelicanoid bird?
Who or what could have the power to shape the path of life
From either outside or in?
The knowability of the answer to this unkillably interesting question
Shall ever be contested
There is another question that must be considered:
If life is like a frisbee
Soaring through the sky,
Looping like a seriously injured pelican
-Or any other kind of seabird that can be injured,
Who is it that threw the frisbee to begin with?
And who, in the most final end of them all, will catch the pass?
