Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Fort Worth Texas,,,, by Emily Reeve

Robert Hawkins

There is a fort proud.
Out near the Oort Cloud.
Just a little mirth.
From living in Fort Worth.
Whitesettlement road testament from old.
Water, Botanical gardens Kinbell's past art masters.
In looking fondly towards
Betelgeuse.
Naught will you find any of these.
Pantego ain't in Paris.
Watauga ain't in Chicago.
Rhome no where near Italy.
Panther City so small zip city.
Cowtown isn't where Longhorns roam.
You will find a Diamond Hill.
Caravan of Dreams to Grapevine, Trinity.
Angelos Bar-B-Que damn delicious.
And no Lone Star Gas.
Fort Worth, Texas.
