Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

For You

becca sajbel

I’m the kid who sits in the back
I stare at you awkwardly
Eyes darting, glued to you
Your always in my mind
Day in, day out
I think about you more
Then I think about myself
I write your name
Obsessivly
I sit in back of your math class
Even though im not enrolled
Mrs. Henniberry
Says math never gets old
As I pick my nose
I arrange the crusted
Pieces in a heart
I made your name out of stray eyelashes
Tomorrow, I will
Make you a sweater with them
And give it to you
Oh yea
THAT’S how I feel
About you
