Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Far Away

Daniel Scheveraux

How far is far
And how long is long?
What is easy to be called easy?
What is difficult to be difficult?
No one understands, no one cares
How life unfolds

What is life?
The leaves whisper to the grass
It is when rain comes
And wets the ground

When asked by young dove
The grass answered neither a smile nor a frown
It is when clouds appears
and hides the sun to give you cool shade
while you go flying to your town

Then, there’s this little creature
Mocking this green unnoticeable grass
“If you know well, answer my question dear,
How do you see love in this grown world?”

The grass cheered up with a beautiful smile
“Ah…love could be the greatest thing that
The world could give to a young grass like me.

The little creature asked with a frown,
“How do you know it is love?”
“Oh, dear…a young grass like me
Feels love when two couple
Sits on me
While cuddling and sharing sweet moments together.

It is when a little child, shares a laugh with his
Happy mother while strolling at the park
I feel love when Heavens
Lets down the rains and let it run through me..

Wonderful things could happen with love
Ah..love makes this world I live in a better place
