Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Evermore,,,,,by Emily Reeve

Robert Hawkins

Wishing it was seeking I found.
In loving I sought more.
Regret now my teacher be.
Yet with loves sweet taste.
One always seeks more.
Never to undo.
But to undo.
Inevitably you do more.
Ever there is the teacher.
Evermore.
Mind seek escape when I think of her.
Memories allow no escape.
But that taste of love you remember.
Truly the pain you cherish wish no escape.
For it is what one live for.
My memories of her my treasure.
Roll back the clock to embrace smell of her hair.
Touch of tongue on her neck.
Her touch her taste to live once more.
That would be worth dying for.
But I live with no escape.
And I have died once more.
Evermore.

note:
For and because she is Emily Reeve.
Whom I consider a friend.
And I don't have many.
She a sweet pea and that's enough.
