Doggie Kisses

Erica Johnson

O little doggie
your snub nose is warm and black
You lick with that pink tongue like a a snail's
Kiss me doggie friend
Kiss!
Kiss!
What else but a doggie's kiss can melt the soul like fondue?
Even in the yard where you squat you stare up at me with those big black eyes of wonder
I wonder what you are thinking, friend
