Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Dog

Mike Schultz

Dog
You’re my dog I love you so
Even when you’re wet with snow
I miss you when you are not near
I love it when you lick my ear
I love that you are soft to the touch
Some say I love you too much
You have a black wet nose
Wetter than a rivers flow
I think about you everyday
To live without you there is no way
I hope that you can live forever
So we can be together whenever
I love it when you want to play
That is something I could do all day
You love when I give you human food
Even though it’s a little rude
I wish to put you in the car
So we can drive really far
I know that when you die
I will give out a large sigh
