Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Depressed

Andrea Boodro

The music was up
The singer shouted “’sup?”
I lay on my bed
With the pillow on my head
What a horrible day
Just to have to stay
At home and alone
All I could do was moan
I peered down at the street
Hoping there’d be someone to meet
Alas, there was no one
I guess I was all done
So I went back to bed
And rested my head
And turned the music down
Until there wasn’t a sound
Soon I fell asleep
With out a weep
Perhaps tomorrow will be better
