Day in Park
Homstad Greer
She jumps and skips all day,
Oh how she loves to play.
All these birds sing loud,
Today the robin is proud.
Trees cast shadows over the ground,
She kneels and hums a lovely sound.
Music plays in the park,
Playful dogs run and bark.
What a wonderful day,
If only she could say,
The love for her he would return.
But now her heart does burn.
