Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Dancing in the Stars

Heidi Moriarty

As you dance around the room,
Tap tap, tap, tap, tap...
Graceful
Like a gazelle having a seizure
Your feet, full of magic
All the way up to your toenails

Watching you through 3-D glasses
It's as if you are dancing
Tap tap, tap, tap, tap...
In the stars
But not getting burned to death
In the process

Oh, magic feet
Keep on dancing forever
Tap tap, tap, tap, tap...
To watch you is heaven
Almost as good as eating cheesecake
Chills and thrills it gives me.
