Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Ace Kale

He's around
And he barks like there was no tomorrow
Loves me like his love child.
The chili green makes me muse to higher awakenings.
I love it when I look onto the rain-washed tarmac.

I peel an orange, sit down on my chair
Listen to the futile sounds
of a system that cannot fail.
When I see my guard
Looking out to dismal stars
And the baying of those skinny coyotes-
Corners there never meet.

I want to take myself to a highway, far away
To a ghost town truck stop,
Eat some pie, and wonder
What will come next.
It's too slow to make a note
About where love will go from here.
That's clear
I'm wandering at the edge of a leaning universe.
