Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Conversation With a Blow-Hard

Michael Reed

If you're flint knapping a stone, you make a point.
...shaping paper into a cone, you make a point.
If your lips and jaws are flappin',
you don't just sit there yappin'.
Something crucial HAD to happen, make a point!

When you're fashioning an arrow, you make a point.
...mold a beak on a clay sparrow, you make a point.
Could it be you're unaware
that you're wasting all that air?
If you want someone to care, make a point!
