Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

A funny feeling comes over me,
My soul is shaken to it's simple core.
How could this be? After all this time,
It appears I'm the conspirator.

Perhaps I've conveniently missed it,
Surely there were signs.....
"One way, please do not enter!"
Courtesy, the Divine.

Not the Protagonist,
but in a twist,
The antagonist
Get the Gist?

You think you are the good guy,
But you're not.
A loving husband??? Instead the bad guy's mascot.

God's pawn with no hope of redemption,
Predestined for eternal damnation.

No one knew, but that gal in the store,
She prayed for you that day.
She told you your fortune, and the score,
And she also showed you the way.

Hurdles God set out for you,
The drink, your anger and me.
All must be overcome....
To give God his glory.

On the heals of her salvation,
I'm the victim of indirect damnation.
God's pawn with no hope of redemption,
Predestined for eternal damnation.

I guess it makes some sense,
The big picture comes into view.
Not much time was spent on me,
As I guess, it was all to be about you.

Maybe I should talk to a therapist?
Better yet a reverend...
But why spend any time at all,
On what is simply a means to an end.

That being said... Its been tough on me....
Please forgive me for complaining.
It's felt a lot like Hell on earth,
I guess you can call it on the job training
