Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Craig Leaf

poem composes itself as it does
Its beauty never fails
Their influences are the same
The whole of it inevitable
Life is conducted in a certain way
Everyone knows it's contemporary
Its beauty never fails
Their influences are the same
The whole of it inevitable
Nothing is the same except composition
Its beauty never fails
Their influences are the same
The whole of it inevitable
It has a prolonged presence
Is ever that which is added after.
Their influences are the same
The whole of it inevitable
Nothing is the same except composition
Its beauty never fails
Their influences are the same
The whole of it inevitable
the composition of new composition
is going back over
the composition of new composition
composition new of composition
the over back going
is composition new of composition
the inevitable it
of whole the same
their influences
there fails never beauty
its composition new of composition
inevitable that which is all-ready a classic
An outlaw several generations behind
finding its culmination later
It has a prolonged presence
Is ever that which is added after.
Their influences are the same
The whole of it inevitable
Nothing is the same except composition
Its beauty never fails
Their influences are the same
The whole of it inevitable
the composition of new composition
is going back over
the composition of new composition
composition knew of composition
the over back going
is composition new of composition
the inevitable it
of whole the same
their influences
there fails never beauty
it's composition knew of compassion
inevitable everything lost nothing
consciously contemporary in itself
continues present singularly nothing
a distributed equilibrium
Then it follows
what is making is what follows it then...
The natural everything
it is at times a par(th)ing
that, in other words
we who created the expression
and now after it has been made
is very troubling... is the reason
there must be time in the creation
of expression of the composition
distributed equilibration
present time the authentic
troubling authenticity
contemporary compulsion
to mingle astonishment,
with expressive assumption
to make an expressive
What is it, that you say?
How was it that, you said... What it is that you say?
