Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Chris Dunn

Our dear sir does not
Control anything.
Much less
His own life.

Although,
This is why he is here,
On the edge
This evening.

Control over his life
And where he goes
Is not up to him,
Nor has it ever been.

What he feels he must do
He does not realize is also
In a plan,
Not his own

Our hero refuses to accept this fact.
Slowly inching toward death
Over the salt-watered walls,
He sheds a single, solitary tear.
