Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Poem 382

Bones

Jamie Scott

Igby Jones sells bones,
to the Grim Reaper who increases in size,
"would it be wise",
says Igby Jones,
"to compromise,
instead of bones,
with two or even three eyes",

"It might be wise to compromise,
with eyes instead of bones,
I'm not quite sure,
what do you think,
Mr. Igby Jones?"

Well Igby he just smiled and said:
"Why don't you go off to bed?"
and he only said that because it rhyms,
and the rest of this poem does not.
