Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Beaten by the Past

Daniel Scheveraux

I stand by the end of the grave
Helpless, furious and grieve
Look at what you've done!
Left me alone before dawn.

I walk through the silent graveyard
March through the nameless
tombs of thousand guards
Doubting, Feeling the loneliness caused
by your leaving.

Moving on? I swear....
I have forgotten where i am heading
Going back and fro
As I thought of your memoirs
So fascinating but painful to please

I will stay like this...
Don't know until when
Keep you with me.
As I go through the dark place where you lived.
