Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Bad, Bad, Poem

Slim Walter DeTurtlevain

My flexible, flexible eardrums
In this dark, dark night-time
Receive unusual, unusual gifts of sound waves:

The irritating, irritating rumble
Of this blubbery, blubbery cat who thinks I'm some sort of fleshy reclining seat

The oilish, oilish symphony
Of many, many crickets
Beyond the clear, clear windows
Of this yellow, yellow room
Where a bad, bad poet "works"
