Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Armageddon

Joy Day

This is the terrible day,
When all things come our way,
And we are about to cry,
And we are about to die.

Armageddon is coming round the bend,
Like a letter you remembered to send,
Taking with it a foul smell,
And a coin thrown down a well.

Oh, I hope I never see,
Armageddon come and get me.
How terrible it will be!
Oh, how I'm going to flee!!!

And if it gets me I'll say,
'Well this is a very bad day'.
Then it will be the end,
And I won't have to pretend.
