Very Bad Archive

Angel

Yoshi Squishee

I pushed him out of the way
Of that oncoming truck
But it got me instead

I flew over the hood
Onto the pavement
And rolled to a stop

He was there, holding my hand
While I moaned and bled
And waited for the ambulance

I told him I did it because I loved him
Which I do

He called me his angel
And kissed my forehead

Now it's awkward
Because I lived
And I'm not gay or anything

I'm just saying
