Alien Thoughts
Robert Hawkins
The best thing about mankind.
Is that they have never left home.
Contanied as they are by that class G star.
We have no fear that you will wander far.
You never will the way you are.
Your own gravity well will keep you there.
Unbelievable!
Must be imagining this.
They are so primitive as to engage in war.
Their cities spectactular yet half in decay.
I wonder the reason they let
a portion of their inhabitants,
Starve that way.
That planet has the potential to be a garden.
Three quarters water yet all those deserts.
Seems a shame its being wasted that way.
We can't help you.
Where afraid to help you.
Its the fear that what you have,
Could spread our way.
We wish so to understand you.
If you survive as a species.
Maybe you could explain you to us someday.
Definitely at some distant
future time.
