Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Admit Me

Fiona Ian

I wish I can be like you
Someone who is dependable
But not too reliable
Someone who is intelligent
But not a wisecrack
Someone who is able
But not too capable
Maybe I contradict myself
But you deny more than I
If you could see me now
You would be in awe
That I am that someone
Who is responsible
Who is bright
Who is competent
So don’t reject me
From your list
Admit me now
