Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

A poem I forgot then remembered again.

Anonymous Thomas

I'm away from you, and you're away from me. He, she, and it and they all say the same thing in the same day. They all say that: dead people can't fall in love. They can't fall in love.
Not like a crow or a dove.
It's only a show and a shove.
When you're dead you're dead.
When you're lying in bed, and you're tears are shed just remember that you'll soon be dead. You'll soon be me.
But dead people can't fall in love. They can't fall in love.
