Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

A Lamp-post

Noah Wez

Though functional, perpetuates the tyranny of the phallocracy.
It exalts the very tip.
Whence comes life, and therefore light.
So a lamppost is more honest than the gynocracy would say
For its gentle effusions give off even the light of day.

There are many ways to make a hot-dog;
The man at the cart uses his cart;
I do not have a cart, and substitute instead a bicycle.
This does not work very well;
There must be something more to it
Than simply two wheels and an appetite
For a delicious dog.
