Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

A Boredom Cocktail

Nathan Hur

Trickle the clear liquid
of
Stale Imagination
into a tinted, rusty jar.

Sprinkle the mouldy bread
of
Bitter Silence
on top.

Pour in the gravy
of
Dead Conversation

Squeeze the fruit
of
Muffled Yawns

Into the jar.
Look in, take a peg
and peg your nose.
For,
you have yourself a
Boredom Cocktail...
Bon Apetite!
