Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

5th Grade Memory

T Buk

I awoke to water dripping
The counter, wet
It was real
It did happen
I told myself it was a dream

A telephone had rang
A voice had come out
An eye had closed
A tear had come out

Hands shaking
She had spilled it
Moved it
Wiped it clean
To the best of her ability

I sat in a wooden chair,
and tried not to stare.
